Land Use

The 20 acre engine plant site contains about 400,000 sf of building area with employee parking lots, loading docks and trailer parking lots. The site is surrounded by commercial development to the west and residential neighborhoods on the east and south.

Infrastructure

The site is served by municipal infrastructure and is adjacent to a secondary CN rail road and State Highway 57.

PAHS (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), VOC (Volatile organic compounds ),(TCE (Trichloroethylene), PCE (Tetrachloroethylene), and petroleum compounds) metals, (Pb and As) as well as PCB impacts.

Some off site remediation of PCB's is underway and the site buildings serve as "cap" over contaminated soils and ground water.
